This ride travels to Highlands, NC. The ride goes through the towns of Clayton and Dillard GA. In the Highlands area, there will be the opportunity to visit two well-known waterfalls, Bridal Veil Falls and Dry Falls. Bridal Veil Falls is a 45-foot waterfall, and Dry Falls, also known as Upper Cullasaja Falls, is a 65-foot waterfall located in the Nantahala National Forest, northwest of Highlands. You can walk underneath both falls. Lunch will be on your own at a variety of recommended establishments in or near Highlands. The return route is via NC Hwy 28 (Moonshiner 28), War Woman Road, and GA Hwy 197 by scenic Lake Burton. There will be a planned rest and fuel stop on this route, as well as fuel availability in the town of Highlands.
